James "Spaddy" Adams
As well as running KSS, James is a trombone player and teacher. He has toured the world with bands such as Spritiualized and The Divine Comedy, and performed with numerous musicians including Paulo Nutini, Bellowhead, Sigur Ros, and Tom Jones. James is a busy theatre musician having worked on productions in the West End including Company, Chicago and the upcoming Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre. Other shows under his belt are South Pacific, Oklahoma and Fiddler on the Roof at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Everybody's Talking about Jamie at the Sheffield Crucible, The Boyfriend at the Chocolate Factory and Pinocchio at the National. Since 2000, James has spent a significant portion of every year over in Nicosia playing tenor and bass trombone with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.
James adores playing in big bands and, among others, has performed with The Matthew Herbert, Mike Garrick and Syd Lawrence Big Bands. He holds a teaching post at More House School in Frensham and has been appointed conductor of the Farnham Amatuer Big Band.
